Its blue is bright and vivid — not the pale haze of weathered glass but something clear and alive, the kind of colour that stops you mid-stride on the beach. Found on the Solway Firth, where the tides run long and the glass is well-worked, it has been set by hand into a polished recycled sterling silver bezel band, 1.2mm wide.
