Found at low tide on the Solway Firth. A quietly beautiful piece of green sea glass, worn smooth by the sea and set in silver.
The Solway Firth has one of the largest tidal ranges on the British coast — at low tide, vast stretches of sand and shingle are exposed, and it’s there that the best sea glass hides. This green piece was hand-collected from those shores, tumbled smooth over years and frosted to a soft, muted finish. It’s been set by hand into a polished recycled sterling silver bezel band, 1.2mm wide — an elegant, minimal setting for a piece of natural history.
